International Men’s Day is an annual observance held on November 19th, to celebrate the positive contributions of men and boys, raise awareness on men’s health, well being, social expectations, and recognizing men’s humanity in a changing world.
It is also a day that addresses issues faced by men globally as it aims to create more inclusive and equitable society for all. It complements International Women’s Day (March 8) which is globally recognized by focusing on men’s roles in society, family, and community.
